In one of His apparitions, Jesus Christ Himself has instructed St. Margaret Mary Alacoque to establish and practice the commemoration of the Feast Day of the Sacred Heart as the Friday after the Feast of the Corpus Christi.
The Devotion to His Sacred Heart is so special that Jesus will not refuse anything to those who faithfully practice it while praying for petitions. It is in completion of the Nine Day Novena Masses where the Devotee, in the form of Novenas of Confidence Prayers can confidently seek His Divine Intervention for any personal petitions that are assuredly granted according to faith.
EFFICACIOUS NOVENAS TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS
NOVENA I
O my Jesus, You have said, "Truly I say to you,
ask and you will receive, seek and you will find,
knock and it will be opened unto you."
Behold I knock, I seek and ask
